The Alamosa Reservoir on Alamosa Creek in 1920. The album caption records it at 8,500 feet, four miles long and half a mile wide; the dead timber standing in the water says the reservoir is newer than the trees.

Shows: A reservoir not long filled, with the drowned timber still upright in it.

What this does not let you conclude: Today's reservoir, or a surveyed capacity. The dimensions are the album caption's claim and not a measurement, and the print is damaged down its left edge.
