Two Survey men on the lining of an empty reservoir in the South Platte valley, weeds coming up through the floor. Storage is a promise about water that exists; this is the other half of the year.

Shows: What a storage right looks like when there is nothing to store, on the river this site watches most closely.

What this does not let you conclude: Which reservoir. The album says only 'along South Platte Valley, Logan County' -- so the storage record beside this cannot be matched to it. October 1941. The album caption names them: 'Senkpiel and Wenzel in dry reservoir along South Platte Valley.'
