The water courts

Seven district courts, one per water division, decide every new right, change and augmentation plan in Colorado. What they publish is the monthly resume of applications; the decrees themselves live in DWR's file room. This page is the door to both, division by division.

Where the record is

Resumes are read monthly from the Judicial Branch's archives and indexed to structures on their dossiers; opposition deadlines are computed from the statute's rule (the last day of the second month after the resume month) and are not the court's word.
